Quadrant Online currently has four service subscription
centers that provide mission-critical wireless fleet management
capabilities:
Mapping Center:
Quadrant Online provides a robust mapping center that can
be accessed via the Internet or through a desktop map database.
The mapping center provides multiple layers of geographic information
(road types, bridges, tunnels, landmarks etc.) and a variety
of location services.
Services:
Tracking - Vehicle positions, speed and direction can
be displayed in real-time on the map or in detailed history/activity
reports. Subscribers can zoom directly to exact addresses,
street intersections, latitude / longitude coordinates or locate
the closest vehicle to a specified address.
Geofencing - set up a virtual boundary that will trigger
a predefined response (alert to phone or PDA) when crossed
by a vehicle. As an example, a fleet dispatch manager may want
to restrict certain vehicles in a fleet from accessing restricted
areas of a city. By defining a Geofence around the area, an
alert email notification would automatically be sent to the
dispatch manager, or GSM cell phone each time the boundary
is crossed. As an additional telematics feature (WebTech Locator
T3000 only), a Geofence can be set to remotely disable a vehicle
if the boundary is crossed.
Polling - Individual vehicles can be polled for their
location on-demand in situations where only present position
information is desired.
Messaging Center:
The Quadrant messaging center provides unlimited two-way messaging
and/or canned message capability (Confirm, Delivered, Yes,
No etc.) through a user-friendly messaging interface. Detailed
vehicle messaging reports are available that confirm message
receipt and reply as well as time and subjects. Two-way messaging
provides basic level dispatching capability that is more cost-effective
than cellular phone usage. The messaging center also facilitates
vehicle telematics commands such as door lock/unlock, engine
immobilization and panic alerts.
Report Center:
The Quadrant report center generates detailed activity reporting
on driver and vehicle performance. Quardrant Reports provide
vehicle activity details such as vehicle speed, distance, stop
and start times. This vehicle data provides a historical record
of the vehicle's activities that can be utilized to confirm 'on
the job' times and protect your road warriors with detailed
records of their whereabouts. Report data can be exported into
corporate databases via XML, comma delimited text or proprietary
formats.
Telematics Center:
The Quadrant Telematics center provides a command center for
monitoring your vehicle assets performance and for performing 'remote
control' functions of the vehicle and its equipment. The
Telematics Center is also the safety command center where panic
button notifications and vehicle diagnostic alerts are managed. |
