Jeddah: Mohamed ALshamary For the first time Saudi Post uses cars equipment with GPS and GMS systems to locate house and buildings to enable the mail management of locating and controlling the modern mail cars through the internet and to locate the beneficiaries places electronically. To execute its strategic project to deliver the mail to the beneficiaries at their places, Saudi Post counted on Satellite images which locate the unites, neighborhood and houses accurately instead of counting on regular maps to case and quicker the procedure of distributing and ensure the availability of the mail boxes to all houses and office buildings. The task started at the capital (Riyadh) and from there to all the kingdom cities, the electronic technique used in Saudi Post project helps to care a lot of efforts and time as well as saving the cost of mail trips. Satellite technology helps to locate all the houses and buildings in accurate method which will help to case the difficulties of establishing the name (AL Anwna) project which lead by Dr.Mohamed Saleh Bantan, the head of Saudi Post, who is aiming to convert the National Saudi Post to be a modern establishment works according to the international standards. The Saudi Post aims through a bunch of ambitions program to quicken the execution of main targets of the ministerial decision No. 78 to concert the Post sector to be an actual public establishment works on commercial enable it to perform its duties, and develop modern technologies for the postal procedure and introduce the financial postal services and the other services.
